| I asked for silicon for doors and windows but just got sraight GE 100% silicon-- didn't even think to double check before I did about a dozen plate flowers! How big of a problem do I have? |

| I've never done plate flowers, so I can only give you advice on things I have done, but I have used the cheapest clear silicone I could find without incident. I think you'll be fine. You might want to take them in for winter--- but you don't get the kind of winters I do, so use your best judgement. |

| Thanks! You've actually been more help than you think! Your zone comment got me to wondering... why I ever put zone 7 I'll never know! I'm actually zone 3- so I'll definitely be bringing in my plate flowers! And wishing I really was zone 7! |
