Sweet picture! Does it have holes in the cover? I don't understand how it works. TFS Kathy |

| Yes there are holes in the cover and it is fun to see the water move when they are eating. I read about jewel box hummingbird feeders and looked them up and they sell for 30 + dollars so I tried to make my own. |

| Well that looks easy enough and the hummingbird sure seems to like it! |

Chere, you seem to be able to look at things and cut thru the bs to the basic idea. I can't wait to see what else you come up with. Kathy |

Good idea and like the OP said, easy to clean. It takes me awhile every time i have to clean them, especially the one with the small opening.DH bought me a big pkg of different size bottle brushes, and none are perfect, but some do help.I also soak them in a little bleach water before cleaning, then rinse, rinse, rinse. | Great and cheap idea! And it seems to make the hummers perch to take a sip so you can get a better look at them. I suppose the red top attracts them too. |
