This was my first attempt to make Bowling Ball art. I had seen it on this forum and wanted to try one myself.

Someone gave me stained glass that she no longer wanted as well as some of those glass pebbles. I found the pieces that most resembled flower petals (I didn't have a glass cutter at the time) and I just glued away. I had pink grout left over from the bathroom and the planter used to house a plant. the plant never did well, but the bowling ball makes a great color statement.

I was both pleased and encouraged to try more.

PRETTY IN PINK!! Love the pink grout o your BB! That is just a reminder to us all that sometimes we can make beautiful art out of what we have on hand. Thats the beauty of garden junk!You done a wonderful job of arranging your glass pieces, too. The flowers are so cute! Great job!!

Love your trike-n-pink! I have the same trike planter on top of my armoire in the bedroom. I love the scroll iron work. Your pink BB adds that little bit of glam that all pieces desire.

I bought the Tricycle several years ago at a moving sale. I used to put a flower pot with flowers in it. The flower pot was too small to hold much moisture so the plants never did well.

I was trying to find a spot for my bowling ball and realized that this was just the right size. Sometimes you just have to look around at what you've already got on hand and there is your solution.
