I forgot to describe this. It is a storm window for a screen door. I glued antique depression "bubbleglass" plates and did a different border around each plate with lavendar and green beach glass. It is so pretty when the light comes thru at sunset. It is leaning against the deck railing as it is very very heavy. A word of warning. Don't use an 8 pane window..Live and learn..LOL I will use a 4 pane window next time as the plates are heavy and so is the glass. I have no clue how to hang this...

Now I know what I'm doing with one of the old windows I have...to hang inside on the bottom part of my workroom window for privacy. Thank you so much for sharing your great idea!

I would use chain to hang it. But be sure it is a welded chain, and not one that will come apart.

That is great! I have a unfinished window hanging in my living room. I had to hang it up so it didn't get broken! ( plus I am procrastinator) I used a ledger board and nailed it to the studs, then used some fastening hardware that I screwed into the window frame and attached it to the board. It's up there pretty sturdy.. almost to sturdy to take it down and finish it! ( I am not sure what I want to do yet, I was going to put photos behind the glass..and have a window to the past theme with old cameras on the sill..)
