I love morning glories and these are so pretty climbing over an old hay rake. Better yet, these were self-seeders!

Beautiful photo. It belongs on a calendar!

I refer to those plants that come by themselves from last years' seed--as volunteers. I love them.

Any thing that will tend to itself is high in my took. I must be getting old. Jlily

Love the hay rake--I have one of those and have a
Thunburgia vine (yellow flowers) starting to grow on it.
Got a late start this year and just moved it to the garden
a couple of months ago.
Funny story-I had just planted
the vine, and my yard guy was pulling all the weeds in
the surrounding leafy area, and pulled it up. I dug it out
of the bag, replanted, and the next time he came it
happened again, in spite of me telling him to leave it.
That may be why it hasn't grown much-it is scared-LOL

Just a bit jealous here - wish I had both the space for a hay rake and a hay rake or other large rusty farm equipment :(
Looks great!!

How adorable; and self-seeders? It was meant to be!

I have MG growing up a naked yard umbrella. This is the first year it has actually gone over the top and started forming an "umbrella".
The funny thing is that the MG I dug up at my sister's house were deep purple, and what showed up at my house were white with an occasional purple one! I don't get it? Nancy
LOVE your rake, BTW! I have an old wagon that I got at a YS for $50! It would probably go for $500 if I tried to sell it!

That is really lovely! What a perfect trellis for the morning glories! I agree with Jan that the rust goes perfectly with the blue/purple of the flowers.

Love that. I'll bet it's really filled in by now!!!
