Remember the red bed for a $1.00

Ok here is the before and after of the $1.00 red bed that I bought at the world's greatest GS. DH made the cutest potting table ever and then I frou-froued it up, recognize the soda can flowers. It is right between my old compost pile and my new greenhouse, it just doesn't get any better than this for me. (I think I may go back and paint the back legs red also, ok so it could be better.) We put new gravel and really got everything spruced up. I am actually looking foward to putting my plants in for the winter, Sept. usually depresses me, but this has kept me busy, for a little while anyway. Well that is just the cutest thing ever!!! LOVE the red and everything does look SO happy! What a great job your DH and you did on the greenhouse and the potting area! Thanks for the inspiration!

I love it all. I know what you mean about getting depressed this time of year. I should be enjoying the change of leaves etc., but all I can see is the end. This is the perfect time for these lovely projects to keep us upbeat, and that adorable little dog helps too.

I love it. You guys did a terrific job.

When I made mine, I cut a whole in the bench and dropped an old kitchen sink in it. (save the cutout--- you can use this to cover your soil)
I keep soil in one side and do all my potting in the other side. It keeps the mess off the table top.

I reaaaally wish I had space for a greenhouse like yours.

It looks great. Ummm I think your little doggy is trying to figure out how to set up housekeeping. lol

Way to go! It looks great. Love the red & white. Add a little of that red to your green house, like a red sign announcing "This is my place". And the doggie at the door is adorable. Let him in!

Now is your dog posing like Vanna to draw our attention to the potting bench? he-he I think it is cute that the dog is sitting so nicely on the stepping stone. Love the bench! It looks especially gorgeous with your soda can flowers and the watermelon. The greenhouse looks fantastic! What a lovely area you and your DH created with "junk."

Looks like you have everything at hand now for your gardening adventures!! Love the red & white! I think you may have to get an old rug for your dog so he can relax in your greenhouse while you are working!!Flowers & watermelon really finish the potting bench off! Jan

My husband is determined to make a greenhouse like yours. When he sees the potting bench, he will want one too. lol
