I knew I was getting chicken and ducks in spring and so started making this sign last winter. I thought it would be cute. I hand made the stencils for the letters by printing off large letters, tracing them onto cardboard, and cutting out the cardboard letters. Same for the other circle symbol and the duck (searched FOREVER for the exact duck silhouette I wanted). I then hand painted everything on a piece of 1/2" plywood and covered it in several coats of clear spray paint. Pretty proud of how it turned out considering I have no drawing/painting artistic abilities.

Your sign turned out great! Do your ducks stay out of the chicken coop? I see their pool in the background.

Love it!!

No, the ducks and chickens all live together. You can see Khaki, my Rouen female, in the bottom right corner of the picture.

Oh, I didn't see the duck's head before! LOL. I had a bantam rooster once who would get in our fish pond for a swim on really hot days...silly thing. Enjoy your feathered friends!
