| My DH and I took a little trip over the weekend to Amish country in Lancaster, PA. We had a great time and for the first time we went to a barn sale. OH MY HEAVENS!! I had the best time! The three barns were filled to the brim with the best junk ever! We spent about two hours just pouring through things...could have stayed a lot longer, but the back of the van was full. If you ever have the opportunity to stop by one of these barn sales...GO! It was a blast! And the prices were unbelievably cheap!
Here are my treasures:

| OMgosh, Marlene...you found GOLD! Well, rusty gold!!! My DH & I would LOVE that place!!! That huge 'grate' thing in the 1st & 5th pic would make an AWESOME table top! We build some of those out of old barnwood...& sometimes paint the wood legs or leave natural...anyway, you found a honey!!! Love everything you got & your fence looks great! Love old equipmt! TFS! Oh wow ......... that is a dream come true !!!! Knowing me, I'd go home & empty the van and come right back !! LOL Some of that stuff is so cool , you don't even have to do anything with it , just display it . What is the box with all the dowels? --- asks the city girl . You got the best haul ever ! Let's see some projects now ,Marlene !!! |

| Toomuch...the wooden thing is a chicken coop. The kind that farmers use to move their chickens to the market or the fair. We plan to use it as a "coffee table" on our screen porch....may put a cushion on top so we can also use it as an ottoman. |

| I think the wheels would look great on the fence arranged as though they were cogs ready to run a piece of machinery, mix large and small. Those small ones above the pitch forks look somewhat like cogs. |
