Leaning Totem Update

I went to the dollar store and bought some red craft foam today, cut it out to see if it would level out the top part of the totem. It seems to work really well. Next I will glue the two pieces together and be sure it is encased in the glue to weatherproof it. Hooray, I think this is going to work! Tomorrow I will glue the entire totem together, let it dry for a couple of days then glue on the bud vase to the base plate so it can go on a stake.
Oh, and yes this is a hand blown red vase so the red won't fade out over time. Thank you all so much for your suggestions and guidance. Sometimes I just can't think of a solution.
