A tribute

We start with a 1 ounce silver coin of John Lennon the beatle (how's that for a garden tie-in?)

Add the spring from a tractor clutch

A piece of BLUE stemware

The top from a BLUE apothecary jar

And the desk-top bubble magnifying glass

Like so:

and you blindly assemble them all to:

The coin is mounted under the glass but all attempts (so far) have failed to produce a good picture.

All the while I was being watched by Angie's (she's my grand niece)new bug. This one is mounted on Slate from India.

Very clever garden tie-in. I am so impressed with your work. It is so fun to see the possibilities in ordinary objects.

The "spring" from the tractor clutch certainly ties it to GJ, too! Ya sold me, Robert!...a quite beautiful pc with the Lennon coin encased. And the bottle bug's mounting spot is gorgeous! TFS! (haven't found your works online yet...but know they are there...congrats!) Jeanne S.
