Bowling Ball almost finished

Crash glass is one of my favorite mediums.
The ball itself is black, the glass was painted then broken, all but the yellow. I had used it all on a mirror and skonces so I had to paint the yellow and use clear.
I am planning on grouting in black and hoping to get the effect I am looking for.
Hope to finish next week.

Cool medium! Are you going to use it on those "old windows" in your album also? Looks like lots of hard work! TFS pics! Jeanne S.

Very nice, I really like the pattern and the colors. I've got BBs waiting to be done, I might move them up on the list.

That's one great ball! I'm wondering how different it would look if you painted the ball and not the glass. Do you know? It seems it would save a lot of work for you in picking pieces from your painted glass? I can hardly wait to see this grouted. It'll look great!

Daisey, heres a link to a group I belong to on Flickr.
Most people do paint the substrate, not the glass.
I am known for making things difficult.
I paint stripes of color on the glass (paito door glass in this case) then break it and pick it up and put into contianers.
I did paint the yellow on this bb and put clear over it.
Seems to look ok.
Still haven't grouted. I am waiting till the silicone is good and dry then checking it while cleaning for loose pieces.
