Gorgeous! I love the ones with the birds inside! I wish I'd put a little kitty inside my Teeger memorial. And you used up your glass. Totally impressive. Where are you storing all the things you have made and what are you going to do with them? kathy |

Kathy, Thanks, I have a large walk-in closet in one my guest rooms and it is solid full and I have a storage building in the back yard, some are there. If DS would come get the stuff I've collected for him I'd have more room. I want to have a sale, but I'm thinking Spring would be better for garden items. Even so, there is a large craft show here in November, I have to hurry and decide. Syble |

| Beautiful! I really like the red and yellow with the bird inside. Not to take anything away from it, but after seeing the ones with the bird, and the other has the mosaic pc like a birdbath, the blue one seems like it needs something. A blue glass bird on top? or a white swan or dove or something. They are pretty, you might be able to sell some at those shows around the holidays, you know, folks looking for unique Christmas gifts. Good luck. |

| Very pretty, froufrou! If you have plenty of space to display at the Nov craft show, then I would go for it! I've been to a couple craft shows lately (as a purchaser) & noticed the totems & glass bugs...I think lots of people look for unique gifts...and your's are certainly UNIQUE! Love the "ambers" especially! TFS pics! Keep up the good work (on somethng else now that your glass is gone) :-) Jeanne S. |

| Oh my gosh, Frou....you sure make it hard to pick a favorite! Good thing I won't be at the sales with your totems. LOL. The birds are WONDERFUL, especially that amber totem with one. But then the mosaic...be still my heart! That is gorgeous!! I can't believe all the amber glass you find either. Kathy, is it too late to add a kitty? That would be so perfect for Teeger's memorial! A razor blade usually makes it easy to take a piece apart, then just clean off both ends with it and re-glue. hugs, Karen |

| I loved the birds & red glass & then got to last pic!! OHhhhh...That's the best, love that mosaic did you get it or do it that way!! it's beautiful!! You certainly do have a great selection of glass in your area! I think you would be smart to try selling some now for gifts!! Less totems to store & you'll make some folks very happy for Holidays!!Good Luck! Jan |

| What wonderful totems!! I am totally jealous that you are so organized and have cleaned out your glass stash and made such great creations! I have a ton of stuff stored for totems, but haven't made a one in weeks...I'm having garden junk withdrawals for sure! Great job on all of them and I especially love the one with the mosaic looking plate! Thanks for inspiring us! |

| Now that is a FANTASTIC FINISH. I'm voting for the red totem. Good luck with the sales, I am sure you will do well. |

Yes go for the sale, and be sure to report back! Karen thank you for the suggestion. I think I have to wait until next spring for a dry day. There isn't much condensation inside the pieces and I want to keep it that way. But that gives me time to look for th perfect kitty! kathy |

| Wow. Love em all, but the red and yellow with the figures are my favs. You're lucky to have extra room to store things. Everything I make, weather to keep or sell, has to go outside. So I have cut back on totems and am trying to do more mosaics. Kat |

Welcome to the forum rainydaywoman. You'll find it very addicting. Here is a link to an inspiration album with the best of the garden junk. Here are short instructions for totems.http://s91.photobucket.com/albums/k302/sangaree_KS/Garden%20Junk%20Inspiration%20Albums/ Collect the glassware Trial stack and tweak your totem Glue using GE Silcone for Window and Doors or Lexel (both are in tubes like caulking.) Use a large heavy piece for the base, try not to turn pieces up so that they collect water. Glue about 3 pieces at time, then add Let dry for a couple of days (Lexel takes loner) Good luck, there is lots of instructions if you use the search here. Syble |

Ms FrouFrou, You are GOOD!! |
RE: Last of the totems?

| what is the last piece at the top of the amber one with the bird? |
RE: Last of the totems?

Hi Rainy day woman! GE silicone II for windows and doors, clear, also comes in smaller tubes that you can squeeze in your hand. Make sure you check the date and don't buy if its close to expiration. It might take a little practice to get the right amount of ge ii on your piece. But its a transferable skill, I recaulked my kitchen counter where it meets the wall when I repainted the kitchen last year! Naturally I used a caulk gun with paintable interior caulk and I also kept a little dish of soapy water to dip my finger in so I could smooth the caulk without it sticking to me. You can also go to the bottom of the thread page where you will see a search box and type in the word totem. That will call up all the totem threads that still exist. Have fun and remember to post pics! We love pics here. kathy |

| Love 'em all! I really like the amber ones in the last picture. They look very lacy. But like others have said, it would be very hard to choose a favorite! |
