| We've been building a greenhouse out of old windows and salvaged materials. Planning started in Dec. 2007 and the building started late summer of this year. It's finally done enough to start filling. We still have some minor things to finish and will need to paint the doors and windows and seal the cedar in the spring, but it's basically finished.
This will mainly be a hobby house for me for mosaics and hypertufa and I will use it for starting plants in the spring and extending the growing season in fall. No plans to use it year round for plants at the moment. I've posted a link to all my blog posts so you can see the progress. |

| It looks great, you are really going to enjoy it as a greenhouse and a hobby spot. I really like the cedar, very well done. DH and I completed one this summer, it's not as large or nice as yours. I'm going to try to overwinter my deck plants, we do not have very harsh winters and I'll heat it with a oil heater when it's really cold. I let ya know in the spring if it works. |

| Great looking greenhouse! How fun for you. A new place for projects and gardening. Love it! |

| Looks great!! All those windows should really keep it fairly warm even in winter on sunny days. Nice to have a place to store your mosaic stuff too!Jan |

| Dottie, your greenhouse is just wonderful! That will be so useful and fun for you. Makes me realize I've been remiss in taking and posting pics of mine. Life kinda gets in the way sometimes. I'll try to get some up soon. |
