| To tumble glass with a cement mixer all you have to do is put the glass in with some play sand. Tilt it like you would to mix cement and turn it on...It takes a couple of hours to smooth out the edges. I have done it many times and love the results. This is how I did the glass that I used around stepping stones as mulch in my garden. |

Micki, I was wondering how you deal with leaves among your glass mulch. Is it a big chore to do fall clean up? kathy |

| I usually just pick up what I can of the leaves when I weed the garden...the rain seems to wash teh rest away...it only takes a couple of minutes when I am weeding. I don't stress too much over the leaves and so far they haven't been a problem. |

| When you tumble it for only a couple of hours do you just get rounded edges or is it enough to give that all-over softness that real beach glass has? I would love to try it but I would have to rent the cement mixer so it might be kind of expensive. Cheryl |
