Hmmm???? sounds interesting I guess if silver nitrate is biologically friendly and you can't poison yourself or the critters with it I might give it a try if I didn't get mirrors so cheap most of the time.

That's very interesting dcarch. I guess that means we could mirror the insides of vases used for totems for example. i know there was some concern at one point about mirrors causing fires. I would prefer an old messed up mirror look anyway, like mercury glass or what ever its called. i'll have to look into it. I'm about ready to post my test of adhesives, maybe I could try a piece of that too and put it out for the winter.

The chemicals for silvering your own mirror is toxic only if you drink them. All old mirrors were made this way.

Yes, you can mirror the insides of bottles. Imagine how spectacular that would reflect sunlight.

Only concave mirrors can focus light and sometimes start fires.
