I had another base (yard sale finds $1 each) and plenty of odd glass so kept going.....I think these will make great christmas presents. :)

:) you guys are sweet. The dark glass is actually from an amethest dinner set for 6 I grabbed from the flea market for $17. I guess the guy had had them a while because his original pice tag said $30. Nothing else but the silicone cost more than $2, so it's an economical hobby if you keep it in control. That is obviously the danger.
