Looks fun. And inspirational. And a sign that spring will come!
|
That bench is nice & looks like triple light in a mesh waste container like they used to have at some parks, anyone know what the "stepping stones" are? Look like lids of some kind. Very interesting, Sounds like he has junking down pat! Jan

Hey mary2010, The weather in NM is beautiful, it usually is this time of year. I'm in the southern end of the state and we're having 60 degree days, sunshine & blue skies. Thanks for asking. If it makes folks feel better it is supposed to cool off toward the weekend, daytime highs in the lower 40's is the last forecast I read. How's weather out your way?

Just went to the library here downtown and grabbed five similar type books. They're not very recent, but it's loaded with ideas! That book looks great!

I've had much fun poring through this. Got from my local library. It's inspiring me to visit scrap yards, welding shops, etc. for materials. Full of one of a kind art!

I've shopped several times at our local scrap yard - excellent prices! Ya pile the trunk with goodies then call the guy over and ask 'how much?' They're usually happy that I take the real junk. HA! The most I ever paid for an item was for a rusty cement mixer - $25. I've never done anything with it, it just sits in the garden, but I had to have it. The book looks great.

Check for this book on Amazon, is cheaper there. I have bought many books and other things through Amazon and have never had a problem. I will put in optional link, but not sure if it will work. This forum has been a little odd lately for me. This book does look interesting. Formally known as GreenSuzq
