grass seed for all-year color

There is a grass seed called "marathon" which is a tall fescue and stays green all year long. It is very expensive. Are there other grass seeds with this quality?

Actually Marathon is a blend of tall fescue cultivars. From what I have read it does very well in Southern California. Tall fescue seed is pretty inexpensive in general, but I believe Marathon isn't because it is controlled by one grower. Most tall fescue would stay green all year round in the relatively warm California climates but you would need to select ones that can tolerate the high heat of Southern Cal, as well as the water restrictions that certain cities impose. Where are you located in CA? How much does Marathon seed cost?
