lawn work in NJ

| I live in NJ. We are having a mild winter this year. My question is I have some time off and was thinking of getting a head start on a area I want to clear out for a basketball court in my back yard.
Do you think since its so mild this year I could rent a sod remover and give it a shot or is it to soon? |
