Hi everyone,

This morning, I walked out my front door and was treated to a lawn that was 100% covered with what looked like spider webs. The only thing is they are not very symmetrical or nice weave patterned... a lot more random in the layout of the web. Even the couple of weeds popping up in the woodchips around my tree had them all over. I know they were NOT there the day before because we had endless amounts of torrential rain. The picture below is not mine, but it looks very similar to my lawn. Do you think this is spiders? Some other insect? A bad fungus?
