This corner of my yard will not grow normal grass. The stuff you see here isn't normal grass, it will grow stiff and hard and you can't walk on it without shoes; but it will turn green. We had hoped to build a garden back there, but when I dig into, there is literally hundreds of the long weeds that I hold up in one of the pictures. Does anybody know what kind of weed that is? And how do I kill it? Is it feasible to create a garden in this spot? Please help me out.
