I had Bermuda 419 sod installed a month ago. The grass is greening up about 70%. Roots are holding to the ground. Ive got alot of nutsedge and other weeds. What should I do because I didnt add pre-emergent because it's new sod. Its about two inchs tall and I haven't even mowed it yet.

Right there is the first place to start, mow it as it is way overdue.

Look on the Internet for The Bermuda Bible, download it, memorize it.

The nutgrass probably came in with the sod. Did the sod seem inexpensive?

I was scared to mow with it only being a month old. The Bermuda bible says to scalp it for the first time in spring. Is that true with it being new sod.

I had the Sod delivered and installed on two different days due to the size. The first set looked real thick and that's where the weeds are coming from now. The second delivery was cut really short and those do not have any weeds at this time.

Do not scalp it this year. Don't be afraid to mow it.

Thanks. I wanted to hear it from someone before I did that.
