for moles I'm using the fake 'worms' that the professionals use. You poke a hole into their run and insert the worm-be sure to wear protective gloves. (I got mine from Lowes- one box of 6 worms for $20) I know they are expensive, but I am desperate-the metal traps have not killed any moles in several years. The moles spread out from my vegetable garden where they eat all my real worms, and then invade the lawn and flower beds. I am also setting up a 5 gallon pail of death for the mice, who are also enjoying my garden and hosta beds.

For 15,000 square feet you might consider some alternatives to grass. That's a lot of grass to mow and water.
