Ants in seeded areas!

So I had two large patches in my front lawn that were all chickweed.
I used Weed B Gone a few weeks ago and this past weekend I was able to rake it all up.
I spread some Scotts' Lawn Soil and then seeded the area.
Now the spots are covered with little ant hills.
I know ants can help aerate your lawn and keep grubs away, but I've also read that they can start to eat your grass seed.

What are some recommendations to take care of this?

Are you sure they are ants and not earthworms? Picture would be nice.

They aren't as defined in this pic since I had just watered this area, but they are definitely ant mounds.
There are tiny ants crawling in and out of all of them and I know worm mounds tend to be more clumpy.

OK go to Lowes o rHome Depot and pick up some Andro. They make several different insecticides for Ants of primarily granules which is a Soy Bean product, liquid sprays, and mound drenches.

And these won't have any effect on the grass seed I threw down?

No effect at all. Get the granules as it is a Soy Bean Meal Product treated with Hormones to sterilize the Queen and any wannabes to replace her. The workers will take the bait to the queen for her to eat and sterilize her.

Soy Bean Meal is a organic fertilizer.
