Pruning Shears as a Weed Puller

Walking my back yard yesterday with my pruners in my hand, I noticed a couple of dandelions. Being the diligent gardener, I stopped, bent down, opened my pruners and pried the weed, tap root and all with the tool.

Ok, I know it will dull the blades and slowly ruin the shears. I don't buy expensive pruners anyway and they worked well. Of course I cleaned them off thoroughly.

Anyone else want to admit they've done this?
