Wheel horse 310-8 help

Hello I'm new to this and please is there anyone out there that can help me I have a 310-8 wheel horse just changed oil put in 2 quarts of 30 wt and dipstick still shows low it is not even up to where the lines are between low and full range any help will be greatly appreciated thank you
