I live near Pittsburgh where the weather has been crappy to say the least. Is it too late to apply pre-emergent crab grass preventer??
Follow-Up Postings:

I doubt it. Crabgrass seeds germinate when the soil has been 50 degrees or warmer for 3 straight days. You will want to apply crab grass preventer right before then. Keep in mind that the soil temperature is cooler than the air temperature.

Not to nitpick, but I think tcp3 meant to write, 60 degrees instead of 50 degrees. It has been unseasonably cool in the northeast and your soil temps are still probably not at 60 degrees yet, so apply that preemergent asap.
