Well you applied at 1/2 the recommended rate based on the label when I looked up the product (but now I'm not sure since a different label had it at what you used) so that's an issue, and then to top it off you had very little contact time (I'm assuming you didn't use a sticking agent?). My guess is you probably won't see very good results unfortunately (even though they give a vague, "If the rain is small and the chemical has dried on the leaves you should be fine clause").

I know all too well about unforeseen downpours (2 years in a row bare-seeding in the fall with major 2-3+ inches of rain only a day or two after seeding!).

If you obey the label it says:

"The maximum application rate to turf is 0.6 pounds of 2,4�"D acid equivalent per acre per application per site. The maximum number of broadcast applications per treatment site is 2 per year"

And to top it off it seems like you may need to wait 2 weeks to see results so I really have no idea on a recommendation for when you can put it back down! Sorry.
