Hi All,

My wife and I are moving back into a house in Phoenix that has been a rental for the last four years, and the lawn has been destroyed. That's a bit of an understatement really. It looks more like a moonscape. I had a small area of Bermuda for the dogs when we rented it out, and that area is now devoid of life...and topsoil. The area is about 20' x 50', and my plan is to aerate heavily, bring in a couple of yards of good quality organic matter, and possibly even till the top 4-6 inches before I try to seed.

I would appreciate any input or suggestions on this. My dogs look sad laying in the dirt.
