| New to the forum and to lawn care. Just had Celebration Bermuda installed, and the landscapers who installed it did not do a starter fertilizer. I was thinking of adding one. The Celebration Bermuda best practices document only mentions using one that is "low in nitrogen and higher in phosphorus and potassium." My local shop sells a starter fertilizer that is 9-13-7. Would this be a good way to go? Is it too late (install was on Wed.) to use one? Is this too much nitrogen?

| Well first there is nothing special about Celebration Bermuda fertilizer requirements. For a starter fertilizer if that is what you want to use use then any 1-1-1 or 2-1-2 ratio. You can find 10-10-10, and 20-10-20 in any garden or farm store around. |
