Yellow blades in St. Augustine lawn

I have started to notice some yellow blades of grass appearing in my front and back yard. I fertilized with Scotts Max Green a month ago and the grass color became a dark green and looked great. I'm not sure what is causing this as I haven't put anything down since. I water roughly once a week or when the leaves begin to fold. The yellow leaves seem to be grouped together in patches randomly around the yard.
