I have am using Weed-Be-Gone this year (in the past I used bayer with good results, but HD was out of it last week). It seems to be a dark brown color? Would dye work?

What I do is spot spay only once a week, that way, if is not dead in a week, I must have not sprayed it before. Or, I systematicly spray my whole yard. That way, if I I see any weeds after three days, they must be new weeds and need eradication.

I'd look in the food coloring section at your favorite grocery store...you could get several colors and experiment
