OK so I've been waiting forever to do this, but I mowed the first time of the year today! Wahoo! It seems weird being this late but nobody else has mowed yet, except a neighbor who scalped his lawn to put down fertalizer.

I cut it to 2.5 inches which is low but I wanted to help it to fill in. Last fall I overseeded and so parts are taller than others. Next time I'll attempt 3 inches.

I'm just really excited because I've been "trialing and erroring" for a few years now. My back yard was perfect until we had a septic put in so I focused on the front and it's really looking good now ;-)

Anyways, I guess this is sorta my "introductory" post. I'll be posting a lot when I'm waiting for the grass to grow so I can cut it some more!
