Need help with my lawn

Hello all, how are you doing today? I am new to this forum and I am here with a purpose. To help revive my lawn. However, I possess little to no knowledge in how to care for it. This will change, hopefully, with some much needed advice and insight from more experienced lawn care enthusiasts. I will post pictures of my lawn so you can see and determine what needs to be done.

I should point out that I do have a dog and that there will always be a dog. I also take care of relatives dogs, as well.

There has been an attack of crabgrass over the last year which resulted in killing off whatever grass was left. I want to revive my lawn but I have no idea how to do so. Can anyone help me? I would very much appreciate it.

Wow, that lawn is pretty bad. Reviving this lawn will always be an uphill battle as long as you have dogs.

Maybe you can train them not to pee! :)

Anyhow, to get started I recommend getting your soil tested to see what it needs and then look into finding a tough grass seed mix.
