lawn issues

i have a kbg lawn that is in the second year of growth. it looks decent but not great. growth is good, color is fair. problem is the blades don't stand up like the should. what does it need? i have irrigation but have noy used fertilizer yet. any advice?

Have you tried aerating your lawn? I know that this helps out a lot, it especially helps new lawn to establish themselves a lot faster. It helps to open up the root system and give you better looking turf.

Also make sure that you fertilize right away. Applying fertilizer also help new lawns to get established much faster.
