| I had a Sta-Rite 1.5 hp pump sitting on my well. It finally sounded bad, and the bearings were shot. The guy at the pump rebuild place said "no go" on this one. The pump had 2" intake, and 1.25" output.
I'm thinking of going to a 2.0 hp pump. But, the intake on it and the output are both at 2". Would there be anything wrong with reducing the output on this down to 1.25" ? I can easily do that. Just wondering if it's OK or not. |
