Hi all, We have lived at this house for 31 years and we are just coming to the end of one of the worst winters in history for this area (expecting more snow tomorrow). We have also experienced a difference in snow removal: instead of loading and hauling the snow banks, they were blown on to the front lawns. Consequently, our lawns have just become bare and our lawns (only the front) are filled with with what appear to be piles of uprooted turf. Is this a natural occurence? Does anyone know what this is? I have attached two photos. which are not very clear because the grass has not yet greened up. We do have squirrels on the property and always have but they usually attack the flower and vegetable beds. Any ideas?
