| what grass will grow in soil/clay, in a yard that will hold water from time to time, and is mostly in the shade ? thanx for your help |

| Where do you live and what makes you think you have clay? Clay is an extremely solid mass of stuff. Remember playing with clay in elementary school? That's probably not what you have. |
