Hi, I have a bare spot on my lawn that I can't figure out. I was thinking it would grow in, and it may, but it appears the grass is dead (I uploaded a pic). I live in CT, not sure what sort of grass, it's really thin bladed grass.

I just put weed and feed on the grass (Scott's 4 step program - step 1), and overseeded with a fescue mix. I know the fall is best, but I'm hoping it'll help the lawn get thicker over the summer.

Thanks for any help on what this problem is, and how to fix it.
