Help me Identify.. Please

I was told this 'grass' is Kentucky Bluegrass. I have some of it coming up in my plush fescue lawn and do not want it. It seems to be seeding like crazy. Can anyone confirm it is Kentucky Bluegrass and if so will a preemergent help in keeping it from germinating in fall?

I am pretty sure those are tall fescue seedheads. Are you mowing your grass, those look pretty tall.

+1 w/ tiemico - too tall and wrong color. Poa annua is pure white, while KBG is white with a blue/purplish tint to them.

I mention both because both form seedheads and are from the same family.
