My empire zoysia is in its third late spring. I cut at 2.5 inches. It always looked scalped for 3-4 days after mowing. Another few days pass and it is time to mow again. I am in west central Florida and currently temp are in the mid 80s with little rain. Our rainy seasons doesn't kick in for another month. When it starts raining more frequently I have less of a problem and the lawn looks better. Right now all the St Aug yard look much greener than mine.
Any suggestions?
