Hello! I am new to the forum and am in seek of some expert advice! Let me preface this by saying I am just about clueless when it comes to this stuff. We just bought some land to build a house. I am hoping I can save money by taking care of getting the lawn going myself once building is complete. Right now what is present on the land is what appears to be wild grass which is thick and tall in areas. Other areas appear to be almost normal, although weedy grass. Is something like this usable, or do I have to start from scratch? If I need to start from scratch, what all needs to be done? What steps and in what order? And if possible, using terms a rookie would be able to understand! Thanks in advance for any responses and help!
