My sod was put down last September. When it was rolled, it appeared to be good quality. Now that it is May, it has become green, but there are many spots where the centipede did not come back completely, and is very thatchy. My questions are 1. should I rake out the thatch 2. would it be a good idea to do some light topdressing, especially in the areas thatched, and to ultimately even the yard 3. I assume it is too early to aerate.
I have already fertilized and mown once. I regularly water. Any advice would be appreciated.
