Hi. Last fall I bought an expensive bag of good quality grass seed (the same seed that my lawn guy used to 'save' my front yard from the lack of care of prior owner). Anyway, I bought the bag to do so spot seeding, but had a lot left over. I taped the bag closed and placed it inside a garbage bag which was also taped closed, but rather than perhaps bring it inside into the basement (50 degrees all winter), I left it in the garage where it had to endure a very cold winter (many 0 degree days in CT last winter).

Any thoughts as to whether I've now killed the bag of seed? Or can it survive in these conditions?
