Has Anyone Used Certainy Herbicide???

We live in Massachusetts and I have tall fescue in my 1 year old lawn that I am trying to get rid of. Please see earlier posting "Massachusetts Lawn with Tall Fescue". I have been pulling the tall fescue by hand which is very time consuming. I have done some research on line for a herbicide/lawn treatment that would rid the lawn of the unwanted tall fescue. I came up with "Certainy" by Monsanto.
Has anyone used the product and will it damage the KBG, fesuce, and rye grasses which are desirable in a cool weather lawn in the Northeast.

Thanks

I have used "Certainty" quite a bit, but more for the control of Poa Trivialis than anything else.

"Certainty" is so touchy about the application rate that Monsanto removed it from labelled use in Cool-Season Grasses. It works, but makes KBG look "sick" and stunts growth for almost 60 days. And just the slightest overapplication will kill other desirable grasses. If you don't have serious experience dealing with Specialty herbicides, I wouldn't play with "Certainty". It ain't anything like Dad's Weed-B-Gon.
