I would not expect to see bermuda seed sprouting until later this month after the soil heats up more. But still, more bermuda seed is almost never needed. If you have only one bermuda plant in the yard, you will be overrun with the stuff by the end of the year.

Do you have ANY shade on your property? Bermuda cannot stand ANY. If it is on the north side of a tree, brick mailbox, shrub, fence, or any building, it will thin all the way out to nothing in a year or two. 90% of the time, shade is the reason why bermuda comes in late or not at all. The other big reason is the use of ryegrass cover in the winter. This actually gets back to reason number 1 so reread the part about shade. The blades of rye grass growing higher than the bermuda cast enough of a shadow to prevent the bermuda from greening in the spring.

All good points. You really need good seed to soil contact. If you don't have bare soil, the only sure way is to use a slit seeder.

I have plenty of sunlight so that is not a problem. Will the seed still germinate after laying on the ground for a month? Below is a picture of my yard. I also have another grass showing up in the yard that I need to get under control now. I was told it was crabgrass, pic below. I am new to this and appreciate the info. My goal is to have the best bermuda lawn on my street.

Did you post the right pic? That is Bermuda

The top picture shows how patchy it is growing. The second picture has some bermuda blades mixed in but most of it is some other grass. Those blades are too wide unless it's a variety I am not familiar with.
