which is zoysia sod for Atlanta, Ga?

I am about to purchase zoysia sod for my front yard . The two important features I am looking for are #1 shade tolerance and #2 least watering required. Thirty percent of my yard gets about 4-5 hours direct sunlight and the rest is full sunlight. Does anyone have experience with Empire, Zeon or Meyer zoysia.
I am tired of fescue maintenance. I do not have an irrigation system. Thanks for any input.

While you are waiting for answrs, check out the NTEP website. They do exhaustive studies on grass, including shade tolerance, etc.

Keep in mind that while zoysia is drought tolerant, it won't stay green when it gets dry. It turns brown & sort of goes dormant, then it will come back when it gets watered/rained on.
i've only used the emerald zoysia from supersod but it was the nicest, fluffiest, thickest carpet of grass ever! But we had irrigation so it stayed green (until the first frost, anyway!) Wish I could have it here but we live too far north now to make it worthwhile.

None of the above. Emerald has the best shade tolerance but poor cold tolerance. Meyers has the worse shade tolerance but the best cold tolerance. Notice the tradeoffs?
