KIll hay growing in my grass

Last fall we put grass seed down and then my husband bought hay instead of straw to cover it. Now I have hay growing in my grass. How do I get rid of it without killing my existing lawn. I prefer natural ways rather than harsh chemicals. But I am desperate, I will take any advice. Thanks Lisa

Just keep mowing it. Eventually it will give up and just die off.

Won't take long.
