Looking for a small, push type compost spreader for 1/2 acre

Hi Everyone,

I am preparing to spread Black Kow manure/compost over 1/2 acre and would like something a little more efficient than the old wheel barrow and shovel method. I don't need anything huge, and I don't want to spend over $200-$300. I did some research and I'm not coming up with much that fits the bill. I did find the following compost spreader online; however does anyone have experience with it? Does it work?

I would use an inexpensive drop spreader. I don't really see the advantage of the cylinder in your picture.

Dump them with wheel barrow and use leaf blower, push broom, leaf rake, garden rake.

Well, that's what I do.
