How can I start a clover lawn?

I have a small patch of lawn in my back yard which is full of dandelions (I think the landscaper got a bargain with that sod.) Anyway, my dog uses the lawn for urinating and I know it will be all yellow before long.
I read that Dutch clover is resistant to dog urine, so I am thinking about having that little patch of lawn (about 247 sq. feet), re-sodded with clover.
Or something called Dog Tuff Lawn sold by High Country Gardens.

Does anyone have any idea how either of those would work?

You can buy clover seeds online. Clover grows very easily at my house. I really don't have to do anything for it to establish. I keep it around because tortoises and bunnies eat the flowers. They also eat dandelion flowers.
